As a Field Service Technician at IXRF, my role is a dynamic blend of customer on-site support and hands-on production involvement. Beyond addressing service calls and installations, I’m deeply engaged in our product’s journey from inception to handoff for final acceptance testing.
From the moment a purchase order arrives, I’m immersed in the intricacies of assembly, including X-ray source, detector installations, and stage motor installations. I also help maintain manufacturing process and quality documentation. This dual role reflects not just my versatility but also IXRF’s commitment to excellence across every stage.
Whether I’m out in the field or on the production floor, my mission remains constant: to uphold IXRF’s reputation for quality and ensure our clients’ satisfaction.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

- Something most people don’t know about me is that my career traces back to the aviation industry, spanning from large companies like Bell Helicopter to smaller General Aviation maintenance shops. A lesser-known fact is my endeavor towards a private pilot’s license in El Paso, Texas, where I logged 10 hours of flight time. Family responsibilities paused this pursuit, but the dream persists. One day, I hope to soar the skies again, completing my license with my son by my side.
What are your professional goals?

- My professional goal is to strive towards becoming the subject matter expert on our Atlas X and M products, gaining experience to one day become a supervisor in the manufacturing process or Director of Field Service Operations.
How does IXRF help you achieve those goals?

- IXRF helps me achieve these goals by giving me the opportunity to see firsthand where our impressive technology is being utilized in the world today. I have the privilege of collaborating with industry professionals with decades of experience daily, which provides me with opportunities to add to the growing skill set I have acquired.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

- In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my boys excel in the sports they love, such as baseball and football. I especially enjoy taking my family to float the river in New Braunfels. Followed by grilling in the backyard while watching the kids play on the trampoline.
